A Scholar is a rank within the Ealdormere Academy of Defence. They are given a Red Scarf edged in Green as mark of their rank.

A scholar must :

• Have at least one primary authorization and be proficient in at least one form from the secondary forms list
• Have at least one year of experience as an authorized fighter
• Wear period garb in the list

To earn the rank of Scholar, the Prizor must fight 20 bouts, followed by a minimum of 15 minutes of open challenge.

Include, but are not limited to:

• Have Fun!
• Continue honing rapier skills
• Get an appointment as a MOFIT
• Continue work on auxiliary weapons forms
• Assist in training and guidance of other fencers
• Begin studying period sources, if not already doing so
